Car history:
Update 2.05.23 Car under frame off restoration. LS7 454, M-22W Supercase. Interior upgraded to leather.

1968 CORVETTE 427/4SP PROJECT CAR. This would be a great candidate for your rusted or wrecked vette. The frame is in outstanding shape and has just surface rust and the car looks to have never been hit. It has been in dry storage since the early 80's until the last month or so. The car has had the headlights filled and small aftermarket lights were mounted behind the grill. Also someone cut a hole in the 427 hood for a tunnel ram or a blower. The body has one small crack on pass side rear quarter, drivers side fender separated from the bonding strip before the drivers door and needs to be glued back in place, a few chips here and there, overall the body is solid but needs to be finished being stripped. The birdcage is in very good shape. The car will need to be completely restored. It has been robbed of its 427, 4sp but has everything else (new and old parts). All of the wiring is intact and has been removed for restoration. All of the glass is in good shape. The dash pads and other interior parts are in good shape. It comes with the original shifter linkage and a few other misc parts pictured. The tank has been removed and tank sticker is deteriorated but the car has all the signs of being an original 427 Corveette such as the H.D. Positraction rear end with sway bar, double fuel lines with the 3/8 fuel line, 427 hood that has evidence of the original Corvette Bronze paint. The car was built for performance from the factory and has manual steering, brakes, windows and locks. The trim tag is 992=CORVETTE BRONZE and Trim reads 425 =ORANGE interior. One thing I forgot to mention is that it has the factory UA6 alarm system in the car which was a very rare option in 68 with less than 400 cars. Yes, I have a clear title for the Corvette. One of the numbers on the rear end reads 3871875 I can't clearly read what the others are without guessing. The car has one small hole in the passengers side rear tub and also the drivers floor board by the gas pedal where it appears to have been damaged coming off the car carrier other than that the floor is intact and solid. The hood paint has been stripped and needs to have the center of it repaired where it was cut and also needs to be repaired on one of the hinge mounts but will still hold the hood on the edges are in good shape, if you know how to work with fiberglass I suspect the hood can be repaired. I found that the nose is not original to the car and was replaced with a one piece nose. Color codes from the trim plate. Built date is J31. 29,531 miles from the trim plate. April 25, 2010.
